Frequently Asked Questions

 01 What is OTC?

"OVER THE COUNTER" These tags can be purchased online, over the counter at Walmart, or Utah DWR office.

Utah spike elk/any bull elk along with a few leftover tags can be purchased over the counter. Tags do sale-out the closer it gets to the hunt.

02  What kind of physical shape is required for this hunt?

It depends on the hunt, ranges can very from flat ceder benches to high mountain peaks, altitude from 5,000 to 10,000 ft in elevation. Depending on what tag you have, we really try to fit the needs of the hunter/client but you should be aware most our bigger bucks and bulls are not found just off the road. We are a public land "No High Fence" operation, which does require some effort so please try to prepare yourself before your hunt by climbing the hills and mountains where you can.

03  Can I bring a friend or family member with me?

Of course, but this may effect your hunt and the price of it. The dynamics of a hunt can change a lot just by adding more people to it. We want you to have an enjoyable hunt with NR Peaks but we also want you to have a successful one, that means your friend or family member might not be standing next to you when the trigger is pulled.
